Amber Wallin, executive director for New Mexico Voices for Children, discussed the annual Kids Count report, which measures the wellbeing of children in several different areas. This year’s report showed an increase in food insecurity, Medicaid enrollments and school absences caused by the pandemic. These issues were more prevalent for minority students. She will also discuss recommended solutions.
