KTAL-LP is Las Cruces Community Radio, a not-for-profit, commercial-free community radio station licensed to Las Cruces, New Mexico on 101.5 FM.

KTAL-LP is a non-commercial public radio station. We do not air “advertisements”. Rather, KTAL airs sponsorship announcements and thank-you notices from commercial businesses and for-profit ventures that follow FCC regulations.

- Underwriting announcements are generally about 30 seconds long.
- They are read at the top of the hour at various times of day, unless a specific show or time is requested.
Announcements may include any of the following:
- Your business name, address, telephone number and website
- Value-neutral description of your products or services
- A non-promotional slogan, if you use one
- Historical information, such as length of time your establishment has served the area
- Brand name of products (maximum of three)
- Products or services offered or sold (maximum of three)
- For nonprofit organizations, a specific event you wish to have mentioned
- A phone number, address, or website
