Cafe Con Leche: Dr Christopher McMahon
Once the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad came through Las Cruces in the late 1800s, it opened up the scenic southwest to both businesses and tourists. Dr Christopher McMahon, Curator for the museums of Las Cruces, will join Nan Rubîn in the studio to outline how the railroad used Hispanic and Native American symbols and images to lure travelers looking for an exotic travel adventure.
