Generosity Personified
Becoming a member listener or sponsor remains vital to KTAL’s success as a non-profit, but there are other ways to give, including by donating or lending music.
John P. Bloom did both recently, providing a generous cash contribution and donating music to the nascent studio library.
“It’s clear we have radio in our blood, so to speak. And I just signed up for a monthly contribution (to KTAL) equal to what I’ve given for years to Public Radio,” he told us.
“Thing is, I just got to the back of a closet of my late wife’s late sister — a nurse dedicated to international nursing education and service for her lifetime. She left a cache of music in the form of some 45 discs and a LOT of tapes which seemingly date from the 1960s and some even later.”
John Bloom, KTAL thanks you.

KTAL Draws Couple to Las Cruces
Ron and Melissa Weiss heard KTAL while visiting Las Cruces and made this comment on our website:
“What a wonderful radio station you have. Best one we have ever listened to, organic and fresh!”
Not only does the couple endorse KTAL, they like our local flavor. “We are going to visit NM in June or July and instead of spending a few days in Las Cruces, we have decided to spend 4-5 days there.”
But we couldn’t ask for a stronger rating from a member-listener, as the Weisses point out.
“Your radio station and your positive vibes play a part in our decision to increase our time in your community.”
Ron and Melissa have done their homework.
“We have done much research about Las Cruces and find it to be a very forward and positive community. I am sure our stay there will not disappoint. If we like what we see, we just might move there sometime shortly thereafter. Life is too short not to look for adventure and positive things in the world!”
Thanks Ron and Melissa for your kind words!
