“Coming Up This Month”
May is Labor History Month. Que Tal will be featuring songs about labor throughout the month. Sunday, May 10th, Que Tal will be honoring Mothers in song in the early morning hours with songs and facts about Mother’s Day. Female artists will be featured in The Gospel Hour from 8-9 AM Tuesday, May 12th, Que Tal will be honoring nurses on International Nurses Day. 11 AM-NOON hear a poem by local poet, Miriam Carmichael, “We Were There”, the cry of the many female nurses who served during the Vietnam War. Short biographical spots of those in the nursing field will also be heard. Saturday, May 16th, Que Tal will honor those who served in the armed forces of the United States for Armed Forces Day from 6-7 AM. Hear stories of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the local Veterans Memorial Park in Las Cruces. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Help keep this independent, non-commercial resource to continue so local people and respectful conversations can continue to be heard. You'll learn what it takes to keep a radio station running and put live shows from our studio on the air. You may even want to host a show of your own someday. Don't know how?
